The present reference-methodical aid is directed to revelation of technologies of biological and chemical nitrogen and phosphorous removal from waste waters, specifics of dregs and excess sludge processing in primary tanks. The book can be used by specialists of research and designing organizations, workers of start-and-adjustment and operational services, students and post-graduates of academies with water supply and drainage specialization.

Global climate change and impairment of environmental conditions aren't confronted with an alternative in selection of liquidation means of all our planets biocontamination. Effort concentration for hydrosphere eutrophication prevention is a real way to renovate water sources reserves and reduce the point of problem to fix people up with fresh potable water. The reviewed monograph is important because it unites treatments of systematism methods of nitrogen and phosphorus removal in Russia and Europe and in the whole world as well. Difference in parameter estimation of system work doesn't hinder in nutrients removal efficiently and qualitatively, the materials, based on the results of exploitation of some treatment plants in Russia, are evidence of it. Sharing experiences and scientific achievements is necessary, that's why producing books like this one should be welcomed in specialized design organizations. Such steps are especially relevant because of absence of normative-technical base in the form of construction and technology requirements in this new tendency of water utilization systems in Russia.
