Brief historic note

The journal was registered in December, 2006, the first issue was published in February,2007. The journal is scientific and technical and first of all meant for specialists and also high readership, who are interested in theoretical and practical questions of water treatment, aquatic environment condition and ecology, processing and recycling of liquid wastes in municipal economy and industry, rational water consumption.

Nine of eleven members of editorial staff, including the editor-in-chief and the executive secretary, published the scientific-technical journal "Water and Ecology: problems and decisions".

The founder of the present journal is the specialized institute ZAO "Project Institute "LENVODOKANALPROEKT", that celebrated the 75-anniversary in October, 2007.
